My mother has been feeling ill for about a year and a half. She had her blood drawn. Her ths was very high. Which means she is hypothyroid. She was on synthroid for her hypothyroidism. She haf to push and push to find have her thyroid blood wrk tested. She had been feeling more drained than usual. Unable to sleep at night. Gaining weight, and face appeared puffy. So she thought ut was jus her thyroid. However, she has also been developing skin lesions on her face, which were biopsied, removed, and the dr said it was taken out before developing into something serious. They keep reappering on her face. She also had a small lump or tumore growing at the back of her hair. Again, caught, removed b4 somethun serious. Why do these lesions and tumors keep reappearing?? What kind of tests does she need? She feels that this is more than just her thyroid. Shes 53. Nonsmoker. Nondrinker. Unable to work. Drs keep saying they cant find anything else. Should she ask for a specific kind of test? Maybe for cancer? What else should she look for? Its tiring to c her and i dnt knw how to help her! Please, anyone, any suggestions or comments would help. Thanx.-so worriedReply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
