My cousin is 16 years old. He was complaining of difficulty swallowing, stiffness of stomach/abdominal muscles, fever and headache. He said he hasn't eaten anything out of the norm. But I am aware of him scraping his leg on scrap metal at an abandoned building while playing with friends. He cleaned the wound and covered it. He was taken to ER. His mother mentioned gram-positive rods, of which I attempt to do research today. Could this be tetanus? I'm waiting to hear back from his mom, but I wanted to do some research on my own.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
