What could I have?

I've been having severe back pain and now the pain is throughout my body. Not even prescription Ibuprofen is working. I've also been having trouble with speech. It is very difficult to understand what I am saying and I also struggle to understand what others are saying. I can hear ok, but sometimes the words sound garbled to me or they sound like a totally different word altogether. My boyfriend and some other people tell me I slur my words or mumble. I have to ask for things to be repeated back to me slower and sometimes I still don't understand or people have to ask me to repeat.

I've been feeling extremely fatigued, I have poor memory and concentration, and frequent bouts of stomach problems and headaches. My mental and physical health is declining and I'm not getting any answers from my doctor about what's going on.

I've had the headaches and stomach issues since I was a child but the other things are more recent than that. I don't know how long I've had them, with the exception of the pain which I've had for a couple weeks.

I also suffer from severe ADHD, learning disabilities, neuralgia and recently I was diagnosed with TMJ. I know these new symptoms are probably not related to them.

What is making me so sick? :(

Thank you.

  • Laney, I just wanted to say that your TMJ problems are probably secondary to your stressful situation. A night guard can help. I wish I could help more. Take care!
