I’ve been dealing with a wide range of conflicting symptoms since December 2008. First it started with fatigue I was and still tired all of the time my primary doctor did a complete lab workup and had me do a sleep study. I found out the I have sleep apnea and use a cpap machine then I was told that my blood work showed that there was a problem with my connective tissue and she had me go to a Rheumatologist that has been treating me for the past year and I still do not have a diagnosis. He put me on antiflamatory meds and prednisone but nothing seems to help the joint pain and stiffness. The symptoms I have are: fatigue, lung disease, shortness of breath (walking, climbing stairs), sleep apnea, swelling in feet and ankles, skin discoloration and pain in legs, Reynard’s disease , acid reflux and joint pain and stiffness.
My Rheumatologist has no idea what I have other than connective tissue disease which could mean anything. So far he has tested me for Lupus (blood work and skin biopsy) which was negative it’s very frustrating not knowing what is wrong with me and the doctors don’t seem to have the answers. Has anyone else experienced these symptoms and if so what was your diagnosis?
