here goes..... about 4 months ago, out of no where my right breast was painful and discharged green puss like fluid. I went to an OB/GYN. I was prescribed an antibiotic and ibuprophen. The discharge stopped, but the pain continued and spread to under my right arm. Fatigue, chills and everyday pain kept me seeking treatment. I've had a MRI of my head done, because I developed two lumps on the back of my head. I was told the MRI was fine. I also had a lot of blood work done. Everything is fine they say. I've had a cheast Xray, cheast CT scan. Everything is fine. I had two breast ultrasounds, one of which taken by a breast cancer speacialist, who said "There's nothing there, nothing that can cause you pain." Two days later, the right breast discharged orange fluid. After my fourth ultrasound, one lymph node in perticular, in my right armpit is the size of a golf ball. I've had two more rounds of antibiotics, which haven't helped my symptoms. I have a biopsy of that lymph node scheduled in two days. All of my blood work has been fine. I'm wondering if Lymphoma can be detected by that biopsy. I just hope the missing link is in that node. If not, I'm ready to give up seeking treatment. Has this happened to anyone else???

  • Yes, lymphoma can be detected in a lymph node biopsy.

  • I'm in farm country. Fields everywhere. pesticides and whatnot. I'm not really searching for a cause, I need diagnosed so I can start recovering. I appreciate all responses. Sometimes I feel like I'm chasing a lost cause. I wonder if it is common to have all BW come back normal, then find lymphoma through the biopsy.
