WAS TREATED FOR BRONCHITIS ON FEB 7 WITH BIAXIN. WITHIN 5 DAYS DEVELOPED SEVERE NASEAU, DIAHREAHA AND WEAKNESS. DOCTOR SAID IT WAS A REACTION TO THE MEDS AND CHANGED THE ANTIBIOTIC. BROCHITIS CLEARED UP BUT REST OF THE SYMPTOMS REMAINED. DOCTOR SAID IT WAS PROBABLY A VIRUS AND WAIT IT OUT. BACK AT DOCTOR BY END OF FEB. SYMPTOMS WERE DIAHREHA (SOFT STOOL, NO BLOOD, NO STRANGE COLOUR) WEAKNESS, NASUEA NO APPETITE AND TROUBLE SLEEPING. THE SYMPTOMS WERE WORSE IN THE AM WHICH IS WHEN THE BOWEL MOVEMENTS OCCURRED. BLOOD TESTS WERE RUN AND THE WHITE CELL COUNT WAS OK. BEGAN TO GET SORE AREAS IN THE MUSCLES PARTICULARLY THE UPPER LEGS AND ARMS AND HAD TROUBLE WALKING OR STANDING FOR ANY LENGTH ON TIME. DOCTOR PUT ME ON PREDNESONE AND RAN CONNECTIVE TISSUE TESTS. WITHIN 4 DAYS HAD STOMACH PAIN THAT SENT ME TO THE HOSPITAL. THE HOSPITAL DID BLOOD AND URINE WORKUP AND AN ULTRASOUND AND DETERMINED THAT THE STOMACH UPSET WAS LIKELY DUE TO THE PREDNESONE AND PUT ME ON PREVACID. ON FOLLOW UP WITH MY DOCTOR HE ADDED DOMPERIDONE TO TRY AND STOP THE NASEAU AND GET MY APPITITE BACK. HE ALSO STOPPED THE PREDNESONE. I STILL HAVE ISSUES WITH MORNING DIAHREAHA AND STILL FEEL WEAK AND TIRED. THE TESTS FOR CONNECTIVE TISSUE CAME BACK WITH SOME ELVATION IN THE SDT COUNT. I AM TO SEE A RHUMETOLOGIST BUT NOT FOR 6 MONTHS. ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS ON THIS MESS-I'M GETTING FRUSTRATED.
