Drs. prescribed antibiotics which temporarily cleared up the draining bumps but more would appear, and the antibiotic eventually wouldn't work. A different Dr. thought it was yeast feeding on high blood sugar. It is commonly referred to as hidradenitis suppuritiva.I recently discovered I am gluten, dairy, and latex intolerant, in that order. Gluten and dairy drive my blood glucose up and it stays there. Within 8 hours of exposure new bumps form or old ones flare. I am managing my glucose through diet (almost no processed foods or sweeteners), taking probiotics to combat yeast, and it seems to be improving. However the real cause I think is auto-immune intolerance to gluten (and dairy, which may resolve after healing from gluten). I haven't been away from latex exposure long enough to know how that factors in.

Or maybe even the deoderant you use. It may not be related to your lymph node problems but yeah you should probably ask your doctor..

  • My husband has the same thing. He was diagnosed with a rare disease called Hidradenitis suppurativa is a chronic, progressive skin condition that affects the sweat glands.
