i am a 19 year old female and about a year ago i was diagnosed with severe necrotizing pancreatitis. I lost almost half. I now have a pancreatitic pseudocyst and a thrombosed splenic vein because of it. my triglyceride levels were fine and no gallstones were found. i had my gallbladder removed anyway as a precaution. Pretty much everything has been ruled out as a cause other than an autoimmune pancreatitis and my birth control could've possibly. because of this they have recently taken me off my birth control. before taking me off i was experiencing joint and muscle aches and low grade fevers for a few weeks. after i stopped, its like it all got out of control. i started getting..
-a sunburn like rash on my cheeks, nose, chest, arms and hands. doesn't hurt. doesnt itch. my breathing is fine so i dont think its an allergic reaction. it is very warm though.
-more aching and joint pain (feels warm) but no swelling that i can tell
-continuation of my low grade fevers
-foul smelling urine...its bad..im not sure how to describe it
-just feeling bad overall
-i am also anemic
...i know some of this sounds like lupus (the rash particularly) but i had a lupus test and it was fine. i also keep finding on the internet that birth control can cause pancreatitis because it raises triglycerides...so im confused because my triglycerides were fine. im beginning to think ill never find the cause of this.
