weird sudden electric-shock-like lightheadedness

Ive had this for about 4 days now, When i stand up / walk / move my head left or right/ turn, i get this weird dizziness. not sure how to explain it, is it vertigo? its like that feeling when you are on a rollercoaster and go down a hill, except not in my stomach, but in my head. gives me a shock so i cry out sometimes and clutch my head, it's like a zap through my head, but is not painful.
I have recently changed medications, from prozac to moclobemide. But that was 2.5 weeks ago.. and my psychiatrist said it was unlikely to be because of the antidepressants, and maybe I had a middle ear infection. I saw my GP today and he said he would have thought it IS the drugs and that if it is, it should lessen over time. I hate it because I can't exercise or anything at the moment and i keep needing to stop and sit down.
I have had flu-like symptoms over the past 3 months or so, so maybe I am just sick? Have swollen glands, an ulcer on my tonsil, and candida at the moment too. could this just be a low immune system thing? I am also taking antibiotics at the moment because of the ulcer.
