I get weird sensations in my head. Feels like I am off kilter, almost off balance in a way. sometimes like when you are on a roller coaster and your stomach goes up and down... thats how it feels in my head. Sometimes, feels like pressure behind my eyes, and into my sinus. I get a "wave like" sensation that comes on suddenly. GOes away just as suddenly. This "wave" goes from ear to ear.
I have had an MRI, a CT and had my heart tested. (told I have anxiety). I have had blood tests done for Lymes, for chemicals (such as lead, etc), for my thyroid & diabetes tested. (all negative..wonderfully!)
I have seen 2 family physicians, 2 neurologists, 1 ears/nose and throat doctor, 2 eye doctors, 3 chiropractors, 2 massage therapists, and one dentist.
Some insist I have migranes. But this is NOT a headache the way I know a headache to be. Nothing makes it go away, asprin, tylenol, ibuprofin, motion sickness meds. Ive tried so many meds just out of desperation.
This sensation comes on at any time .. no warning, nothing I can relate it to. I can be in the shower, I can be sleeping and it will wake me up, I can be working, watching tv... anything.. nothing in aprticlar triggers it. Used to be the sensation happened throughout the day... typically 10-20 times a day. NOW it happens more and lasts longer. Most times I awaken with this sensation, and it hangs on for hours. Although I can say that when I bend over, such as after sweeping the floor and picking up with a dust pan, then I get this huge pressure feeling in my head.
Along with these sensations, which I am not sure if it's related or not, but my feet are killing me. I am on my feet all the time. My family doctor says its from being on my feet too long, should wear "teds" to feel better (no relief), One chiropractor says I have falling arches and thats why the "tops" of my feet hurt the way they do. (inserts should make it better... but it doesnt) A second chiropractor says I have calcium deposits in my feet. I also seen a "foot" specialist who told me I had arthritis in my feet.
All these symptoms developed about 3 years ago. (they just continually worsen over time) I have a ton of stress in my life, being care taker for my terminally ill mother, and trying to run a business also. Stress/Anxiety doesnt sound out of the question to me, but is it really that simple, and if so, how come I can't get any relief or a true diagnosis.
Does anybody have any suggestions on what sort of a "specialist" that I should be seeing? Or any ideas as to what is going on?
