A few weeks ago, after a night of drinking, I vomited in the morning about 5 times within about 1 minute. The first time was normal, then it was a little darker, then it was all blood the last few times. Now I DID go to the doctor on monday (it happened on saturday and our clinic is not open on the weekend) and all she did was give me a few possibilites, some anti-stomach acid pills, and pretty much blew me off. I am in the military you see, and despite popular belief, our medical treatment is HORRIBLE. Most of the time the people you see arent even doctors. One time I went and told them symptoms, and all they did was flip through a medical book (Not kidding). In any case I have looked up the causees of vomiting blood, and most of them sound very bad. I am not comforted at all by the doctor, but It has not happened again and it was at least 2 weeks ago. Am I safe in assuming that I would have been vomiting more if there was still blood in my stomach? Or should I demand further treatment? Thanks!!!Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
