Visual Hallucination?

Met with an acquaintance and in the middle of conversation, his eyes flickered twice, but his eyes did not move up (like I've seen people do when they have seizures), they stayed straight as he looked at me. He looked as if he was not himself for that split second. I asked him if everything were ok and he said that he had a unusual experience where he vividly saw me with two heads for a second.

His History: He does not abuse alcohol, has a family history of OCD/anxiety and has been dabbling into occult practices (psychic connections). Sometimes he is guarded, fearful, has scattered but organized thinking and may be slightly suspicious of others. He says he can sometimes discern what other people are thinking at times, and when he has done this to me, he has been accurate. Sometimes he says he knows things before people tell him, and he told me something he couldn't have known and was accurate.

Was this a visual hallucination, potential partial seizure or something else? I recommended he see his PCP
