My 11 year old son has this condition of swollen eyes. Usually it starts out with one and then sometimes the other follows. I have taken him to an ENT, Allergist, of course Pediatrician, also, emergency room visit to Children’s Hospital of Philly. None can give us an answer with what or why. Some think it's allergies but nothing has been proved. The only connection with his condition he is always playing with water whether it be in the swimming pool or with the garden hose. If anyone has anything to tell me please let me know. It is not painful, nothing ever oozes out from the eye/s, and the actual eye ball is normal no red. It’s the lower skin of his eye that swells not the eye lid. It swells so bad his eye can’t open. He looks as if he was boxing and got a pop in the eye. Looking forward to hearing from someone.
