It has been a long year and a large story so I am going to try to keep it brief! I woke up one morn in Dec. of 2005 with extreme jaw tightness, headache and dizziness. Went to the doctor a couple of day's later because it was so bad and he sent me home saying I had anxiety and gave me valium. I did have anxiety!! Over being so dizzy and like I had clamps around my jaw and temples and weird tightness on the lower part of my skull. Also, I started have issues with my breathing, when I breathe in it seems to "catch" as if maybe something is swollen back in my throat and not letting the air come through freely. It is only when I breath in. In the beginning of the year my symptoms were very severe and since of and on bad to very bad. The dizziness makes me nauseas and the breathing issue gives me anxiety.

I have two other symptoms that are extremely bizarre! I can hear grainy and kind of gooey stretching sounds when I move my head and when I press area and sometimes even when I'm still, in my temples, back lower part of my skull, between my eyes and under my chin(especially when I wake up in the morning).
2nd bizarre symptom is I have noticed over the past year that black grainy splotch comes out in my saliva. It always looks the same.

Since this started I have:
seen 12 doctors including emt, acupuncturist, western doctor who does muscle testing and several other physicians.
I have been given muscle relaxers, asthma inhaler, allergy med, vicodin, antibiotic for ear infection.
I have had a scope down my throat, a MRI, and a lymphatic scan.

Also, I have done three intense cleansings and been on a strict eating diet.
My most recent doctor thought I was exposed to mold (I inhaled a lot of dust cleaning a garage). He has been getting me to snort nizoral spray in my nostrils for about 4 months now for mold and it has done nothing!

This is just a brief!

I wonder if I have been exposed to something toxic or parasites or....
I am really left with nothing after a year of pouring out money!!
Any one with any ideas??
Does anyone have docter recommendations? A docter that will care to listen?

  • Seriously consider Morgellons disease. Everyone claimed it to be delusions, but now the American Academy of Dermatology were willing to publish this: www.eblue.org/article/PIIS0190962207001958/fulltext"To anyone willing to look and listen, all patients with Morgellons carry elevated laboratory proinflammatory markers, elevated insulin levels, and verifiable serologic evidence of 3 bacterial pathogens. They also show easily found physical markers such as peripheral neuropathy, delayed capillary refill, abnormal Romberg's sign, decreased body temperature, and tachycardia. Most importantly they will improve, and most recover on antibiotics directed at the above pathogens."Many doctors deny that this exists, while even some important ones know that it certainly does. Be ready for that .. If this is what you have (I hope you don't) then you need antibiotics and also to strengthen your immune system as best you can. The symptoms are discussed here - www.rense.com/general74/morg4.htm and there are many more articles at www.morgellonshope.com/content/category/1/21/74/Colloidal silver works best against it. See www.nutrasilver.com for a type you can take internally. Here in ZA we brew it at home. It has proven consistently better than any med or antibiotic, for almost any problem. If it is correctly made there are no side effects. Please see www.tetrahedron.org/articles/colloidal_silver.htmlThe underlying weakness comes from a pathogen discussed at http://www.nibiruancouncil.com/html/valueofmycoplasmaarticle.html - the names of her "guides" mean nothing (they suck their thumbs) but their info is accurate. Further info here (just read around the silly popup) - http://www.mercola.com/2001/sep/8/mycoplasma.htm

  • Nat,I'm sorry to hear about this long suffering issue. You may have an infection as some of the other suggest. Of course you should have consulted with your doctors. If they don't know what's going on, then you have to take matters into your own hands. I see that you are doing your due diligence and this is good. I have some experience with this. My wife suffered similar affects. You should do two things. 1. Get some Oil of Oregano - It must be PEG 73 or wild oregano. Most good health food stores have it. It is an very potent bug killer. You take one cap morning and one cap nightly for a month. That will clear up any lung infection or sinus infection you have. 2. Get some Aloe Gel from a health food store. I use it by the gallon. It is $19 for the jug in Vitamin World in Bellingham or $36 for the same jug here in Vancouver. Drink three ounces of the gel three times a day. It will reduce inflammation in your system considerably. I've used this for heart palpitations that are often triggered by high inflammation rates internally. I've had tremendous success with this stuff. Couldn't live without it! Do let us know how it goes.. Nick."The Truth simply can't be suppressed"http://www.bcfirst.com/juicehttp://www.lucidboomer.com

  • Temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ) can cause headaches; although it’s not common. Studies show that migraines make TMJ worse, and the reverse is also true, but all migraines are not caused by TMJ. The disorder can have varied symptoms because that joint is complex, involving ligaments, muscles and cartilage, as well as the ball and socket that attach your lower jaw to the skull. Usually, the joint clicks or pops and opening or closing your mouth may be difficult. There can also be tightness or soreness in the muscles and pain with chewing. Could you also be having migraines or tension headaches?

  • i think a friend of mine has an extremely similar situation. Often if she's had a bad day and some type of fight between us has occured at the end of the night when she goes to sleep she starts one of several anxiety "ticks" like scratching at something or hitting her head. Her jaw tightens as do the muscles in her hands and I can never seem to prey anything open or make her stop. she gets extreme headaches and by the time her "fit" is over all she remembers is the fact that she had an extremely painful headache which has brought her to tears on several occasions. It's very hard to explain all the details but everything except for the goey feeling that you have sounds like her. She even coughs up a black-brownish thing every morning. It's been happening for over two years and i can't convince her to go to the doctor because she has no health care. I wish i could tell you what it was but i'm just as lost as you are.

A docter that will care to listen? You have some siliar symptoms it appears as me. I been to the ER don't know how many times due to swollen lymphnodes, jaw pain, feeling like something is stuck in the back of my throat, feeling like I am going to quit breathing, feeling of mucus or something stuck in my throat. I have been researching like crazy. I am starting to lean towards the lines of TMJ with possible globus syndrome or cricopharyngeus spasm related to it. Have you been to a dentist before this occurred/ any tooth extractions or different bite? Anyhow if you find out anything let us know as I would greatly appreciate it as I am trying to find out what extacly is wrong with me as well but so far my guess is along those lines from all the studying I have done.

A docter that will care to listen? I would suggest that you definitely get tested to rule out a parasitic infection. If you look up the symptoms of parasite infections, jaw tightness and even anxiety are big factors. Have you tried seeing an Ayurvedic practitioner? I've had great sucess geting alot of my own "mystery" symptoms treated by Ayurveda. It was an Ayurvedic Practitioner that found alot of my symptoms was due to a parasite infection. I was given an herbal regimen to take and finally am starting to feel alot better. Good Luck!

  • I had very similar symptoms for about 4 months and it turned out to be tight neck muscles pinching nerves and restricting blood flow. Acupuncture and neck massage cured it completely.Best of luck.
