Hi, My 5 yr. old son suffers from abdominal migraines and when he is sick with one will develop a really high fever (103-104F). Recently I've just discovered that he regularly has LOW temps (95-96F) during different times of the day and night that are not necessarily at the same time he is experiancing a migraine. However, if he IS having a high fever his temp can drop at night and then in the morning he will resume the high temp.
Any ideas of what may be causeing this? I am purplexed and can find NOTHING on the net other than hypothermia articles and things that do not apply. It just doesn't seem normal to me but we told his Dr. and it was pretty much dismissed without giving any answers.
Thank you.

  • Wow!!! That's all very interesting even if it isn't the cause of his unusual temps., which I don't think it is. Thank you for the info. and the links. I did check and we live about a mile and a half from the nearest tower or antenna so I think that's unlikely though. What is EHS? Any other ideas out there? Most importantly does anyone think I should press for more testing or is this semi-normal? Thanks!!! --Davanda
