 hi,i have been very ill for two years,it started with feeling sick, and vomiting, then the pain came i was rushed into hospital.thay took blood tests and my obs, which where all normal, and sent me home, thay gave me some tablets for ulcers.this happened every two weeks , so thay put the camara down and found a old ulcer ,which was healing. i came home and took my tablets, but the bout of sickness and pain kept coming back,so thay put the camara again, but the ulcer had healed.my bloods and obs and sats started to change and the doctor said it was pancreatitis.the next year i was in and out of hosp like a yoyo.i had xrays, ct,mri, scans which were normal,so thay sent blood and urine for test for porphria,in oct,06.but when i went to see my doctor in dec 06,thay seem to have lost it,and thay told me to ask for an other test to be done when i have my next attack.i feel i cant go on like this.diane

  • Here is what I suggest: Find an acupuncturist who specializes in Chinese herbal medicines, especially herbal "teas" to help get your body back in balance. In Traditional Chinese Medicine we treat pancreatitis and other gastrointestinal diseases very successfully - the teas taste pretty yucky but they are effective! To find one near you log on to www.acufinder.com and type in your zip code. I also think they have acupuncture listings all over the globe. Keep getting tests done and find a doctor who is enlightened about alternative treatments. Are you on any medications? Do you suffer from diarrhea? A good food therapy for digestive troubles is fresh ginger. Slice several slices of fresh ginger in spring water and bring to boil. Boil or steet 15 min or so and drink throughout the day. Hope this helps.Doctor Of Oriental Medicine

  • I had similar symptoms and was diagnosed with Celiac disease (intolerance to Gluten). Try a gluten free diet for a week and see if it helps (no wheat/rye/barley). Search grocery stores for Gluten Free. If you want to do it the easy way, fresh fruits & veggies, and no sauces / breading. Meat cooked over fire or pan seared. It's worth a shot.
