I want to start off by saying thank you for your help. I am 30 years old and I've been suffering with my Allergies all of my life. I have been to allergist so many times and have not found a solution. My symptoms include, very bad headaches, fatigue, swollen eyes, lack of concentration, pressure on the brain, very irritable. This problem is affecting every area of my life, personal relationships, work etc. I am allergic to dust, pollen, trees, mold, cats, dogs and scents. I have taken every medication there is and nothing has helped. I am writing today, because I really need help, my life is honeslty falling apart. I don't like to complain but it feels like I can't do anything in this condition. Sometimes, I don't want to be around anyone because I am in so much pain. I am determined to find a solution so that I can enjoy my life and family. Once again, I thank you for your time and any advice, GOD BLESS.

  • Hi Justin,You sound just like my husband and daughter. My husband constantly walks around coughing, sniffing, headaches and sneezing. When he sneezes, it is always at least 3 times in a row. Seems to have abdominal pain daily. His sleeping patterns are horrible. Snores sooo loud at times it sounds as if he is catching his last breath, very scary. He just cannot breathe well. Dark circles around eyes and apparent "grey" look to his skin. He is 36 yr old.My daughter is 9. Around 5 yr old had her tested for allergies. Came back: wheat, rice, barley, peanuts, molds, dust, trees and eggs! Same "grey" look and dark circles under eyes. Belly aches every day. Also, very miserable and cranky. Snores very loud as well and does not sleep well either.I had taken them both to the allergist on this past Friday. They both were retested and my husband had NO reactions and my daughter only "dust" reaction! They both did have ear infections. My husband explains it as if his head were in a fish bowl half the time. Like everything swishes around.Allergist was stumped at first, thinking that they both would have more reactions. He actually came to the conclusion that he believes that they both have GERD, some kind of reflux. He gave them both antibiotics for the ears, previcid and singulair. They both are to get CT's done of their sinisus but he really thinks it may be reflux! Wants them to take meds for 2 weeks and then go back. Already 2 days and my hubby feels a little better.Just a suggetion of some hope for you maybe. It doesn't hurt to ask your Dr about it. Actually I think they sell Prevecid OTC now. Neither one of them complain of heartburn but actual belly aches. Hope I have helped. Take care!!

  • First of all I suggest you get a neti pot and use it daily - I use mine twice a day, just like brushing your teeth. This should make a huge difference and once you get the hang of it it will feel great! Also, essential oils of clove, eucalyptus, thyme and cinnamon mixed with olive oil makes a great compress. Mix together and massage a few drops on the affected area (keep out of eyes) and follow with a hot compress. Second, I would look into candida - this causes chronic sinusitis, and a host of other problems. If you have taken lots of antibiotics in the past than you are a prime candidate for candida overload. Please visit www.candidasupport.org and www.wholeapproach.com where you will find more info and some questionnaires to fill out. Most docs don't think this is a problem, but it is. Western antifungal meds are very toxic - I recommend Threelac to treat this problem. Chronic sinusitis is very difficult to treat, but if you can find an acupuncturist who is certified in Chinese herbs it will really help. Best wishes,DOM

  • I can relate. I hve had sinus problems off and on all my life but nothing like the last 4 months. 4 months ago, my whole inside of my head filled up with fluid. It was horrible. 3 rounds of antibiotics and 5 rounds of steroids later, I am better but not much. My sinuses are clear but I still have horrible swelling underneith and around my eyes. My left eye is worse. Swelling feels like it goes down the side of my face, ear and neck. but when you look at me, you can only see the swelling under my eye. Really scaring me that it wont go away. I dont have any allergic symptoms like itchy or red eyes or anything. I had to take a 6 week LOA from my work because I could drive because I was so lightheaded and my vision and balance were off. Still not much better. My husband has been driving me to work. I dont know what else to do. The Nasocort/Astylline nose spray is not helping. I hate Allegra, it makes me feel stoned and I already feel that way anyway. What are we supposed to do? I swear my eyeball is gonna pop out of my head soon.

  • Hello, I want to start off by saying thank you for your help. I am 30 years old and I've been suffering with my Allergies all of my life. I have been to allergist so many times and have not found a solution. ... Once again, I thank you for your time and any advice, GOD BLESS. Sincerely,JustinI've had a similar experience. My doctor showed me how to clean my tonsils and it has reduces my sinus and allergy problems by 80%. It is my understanding that our tonsils are textured almost like a sponge. Sometimes food gets trapped in the holes and that can cause irritation, bad breath, and so forth. Using a tongue depressor, my doctor pressed and scraped the debris from my tonsils. It was unpleasant, but the end result is that I feel much better and my symptoms have been greatly alleviated. If you still have your tonsils, it might be helpful to talk to your doctor about cleaning the debris from the holes. I hope this information leads you to a successful remedy.
