18 years / male / 100kg / 200cm / low blood pressure / scoliosis / light smoker/drinker and slightly out of shape due to a poor diet

I've been experiencing an embarrassing problem for a month now - impotence (it won't stay up for more than say... 5 minutes). As of a few days I've had a 38.8°C fever with 'aches and pains' and my thyroids have been acting up. This has come and gone, but I feel like it's gone now. I've also been feeling tired and lethargic for the past month.

Has anyone experienced this at my age? Is this normal? Is this due to my unhealthy lifestyle? I know this isn't as serious as the other issues in this forum, but, at my age, impotence is not good. So please... help...

  • As much as we would like to think impotence is all physical, at your age it is most likely mental. Please don't be offended. I would go to your doc asap as this truly effects you life as a young male. The good news is that you are young, your blood pressure is good and you don't smoke. All of these decrease the risk that this problem is physical, of course it doesn't rule it out completely so a doctor should not just dismiss you and send you off to a counselor or psychiatrist. He should investigate and work with you as a partner in solving this.Good Luck and God Speed
