My grandmother recently had a bypass surgery, She is obese and diabetic.
She also has high blood pressure and cannot walk for long.
She was complaining of swelling in legs, pain in the joints especially her ankles. Upon diagnosis the doctor asked for a series of tests , main I know was the doppler test . The results came yesturday and the doctor is saying that her kidneys are starting to show signs of damage.
He has changed her medication and has told to keep track of sugar levels before and after the meals.
The problem is that the's got sugar level of 66 (6 am)in the morning and then 236 (2 pm) after lunch. Plus she's developed vague rashes which are very itchy and she's continuously scratching. I'm now getting really worried.
I ask for help here because she's very dear to us all and it becomes more of a chaos at such moments. The constant change of doctors for the best advice is also not something in my control as I am a junior member of the family. Please help me on this so that I can make her cure quickly and with less pain.
