Vaginal problems for last year

I'm really not sure where else to go with this so I just wondered if anyone else has had the same problem as me.

For the last year or so i've had a lot of vaginal discharge - I know it's normal to have fluctuations and stuff but this is loads, everyday and night. It's kind of watery and cloudy and it dries white on my knickers and sometimes goes yellowish. It smells quite bad. It's making me quite itchy and uncomfortable and I spend my life in sanitary towels as liners don't help. I went to my doctors and got a swab for thrush, bacterial vaginosis etc done and it came back negative. Since then my doctor just keeps telling me to wipe front to back and not wash too often, but I have always done those things, not just after this started but way before. I'm going back to the doctors later, but he doesn't help me he just keeps telling me not to wash it with soap - which I don't and haven't for years.

It's driving me mad, my relationship with my boyfriend is suffering because I won't have sex with him.... So has anyone ever had this problem before and if so did your doctors sort it out? Is there a particular test I should be asking for or anything? Like I said I'm going there later but mostly it just seems like he's trying to get me out of his office.

  • Sprry I can't help but I am actually going through something similar w.o the itching. I haven't told my doctor specifically about it but I have been checked for different STDs and such. Have you gotten other tests done?
