I have been having an intense inflammatory response after having sexual intercourse with my husband. I think when he ejaculates, the seminal fluid is causing me to break out into hives, causes redness and intense itching. My vagina and vulva become swollen and the itching does not subside with washing. It was initially lasting a few hours after sexual intercourse but now I am still swollen throughout the next day. I am unsure what to do and he feels so uncomfortable with the situation that we are not having sex and he doesn't want to go to the doctor.
