I had a baby 4 years ago and evers since I gave birth I have had a smelly discharge that never stops. It is constant. I have been back and forth to 4 different doctors and have been prescribed 4 or 5 different things and nothing is working. I keep hearing that " maybe thats just the way it is" but i do not accept that as a diagnosis. It was never like that before and it is not healthy that it is like that now. It is a light yellow or light green sometimes discharge that smells. Even right after a shower you can smell it. it never goes away it never is not flowing... Any suggestions??? I need help. I have even had another baby since then and my doctor couldnt figure out what it was.... It has been 4 years....everyday for 4 years.... I cant stand it anymore!!

  • I had a similar problem after the birth of my 2nd child and when I went in, the NP found that it was blood that I could not detect (they took a culture and ran it through). Evidentally, it did not show up in the discharge to the naked eye but it did under a microscope. You should have them run a culture and check for blood..also do you have blood in your urine ever? Just some thoughts...also have your ph checked in your discharge. Also, get checked for std's as they can cause the same problem...chlamydia, gonorehea (sp)...this could also be a cause...also persistant yeast infection..you can even have too much yeast throughout your entire system...just some things to look over if you have not already.
