I am sexually active with one partner. After having sex, a day after my period was over, I experienced light bleeding. Since then (3 days) my vagina has been slightly itchy and burning. We did use a condom but this has never happened before. My discharge is regular and I have not noticed a "fishy" odor or cottagecheesy looking, though I'm not really sure what I'm looking for.

  • use the condoms without the spemicide. If the burning does not stop, get a blood test for herpes 2; condoms doesn't always stop it. Neither of you need a rash to have it.
