I am a 25 yo with no history of female problems other than a c-section. About three months ago I had an ultra sounddue to a pos home pregnancy test. Doctors blood test and ultra sound found no pregnancy but did see a cyst on my left overy. I have a merina? iud in so when I hapen to have a preiod it is normaly only a few spots for a day or two. Now for the last two weeks I have been having strange vaginal spotting. I have been taking daily asprin and advil for sinus headaches. Dont know if that could be making my problem worse. Dose this sound like anything anyone else has had?

  • I am no doctor, but after having similair syptoms a few years ago, that eventually worsened, I had to leave you a reply. Even if you don't have this problem, please at least get them to check it out. I wasn't diagnosed properly, so ended up having to have a hysterectomy, because my doctor didn't pick up on what it was. Ask them to check/test you for fibroids. I too was told about having a mirena, but as I had been left so long until final diagnosis, it was too late for me to have a mirena. They just had to do the op. They can do something usually, for fibroids if you are diagnosed in time.Good luck I hope you find your answer, whatever it may be. Not knowing for me was the worst thing of all.Regards.J

  • Please, go get a pap smear. There are so many things that can cause problems like this. You want to immediately rule out the worst of them.Good luck.
