I've had cervical dysplasia (HPV) for about 8 years now. I've gone in twice a year to see my gynecologist. She's always said to wait and see what happens because sometimes the virus goes away on it's own. I exercise regularly and am at a normal weight for my height and so forth. I've been having some sharp pains on my pelvis for about a year now. (I haven't seen my gynecologist in over a year) I haven't made anything of the pains b/c I thought maybe it had to do with ovulating or period pain. What I'm worried about is this vaginal bleeding. My period ended around Aug. 14-15, and for the last few days I've been seeing blood in my discharge and toilet paper. It's brown as though my period were just starting or ending. I'm calling to make an appointment with my gynecologist tomorrow, but I wonder if anyone has any explanation for this other than cervical cancer? I'm pretty scared. Has anyone ever experienced these symptoms? Thanks.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
