My daughter who is 6 developed hives on her hands, forearms, feet, elbows, chin, and knees at the same time she was diagnosed with strep throat. The strep was treated with amoxicyllin but the hives have continued now for four weeks. Our pediatrician says to wait it out. I'm beginning to worry that they are a symptom of something more sinister. Anyone else experienced this? Fortunately, they do not itch her, but they look awful. :eek:Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
