Hey everyone. My name is Gunna and i live in Iceland and i am 43 yrs old. I have been using this web a lot over the years and can not express my gratitude for the help i have found here. I thought i might try to tell you my story, in case someone recognizes some of my symptoms and can offer some help. ;)
I have been struggling with severe Urticaria ever since i was a child (runs in my moms family) and was able to live a somewhat normal life with my allergy medications and taking care of myself. 10 yrs ago i started getting sick in another kinda way... And after 6 years of trying every medication out there and taking every test and scan there is, along with some operations... I decided to take things into my own hands or simply just die. I had high fever most of the time, had to wear earplugs cause sounds multlpl. in my head, my hormonal levels were non existing. 0.001 and so on... worse than a 80 year old woman(( i was bleeding everywhere, my vagina, eyes, stomach ulcers with bact., dizzy and floating and had problems walking cause my balance was totally ruined... I had extremely high blood pressure and had problems taking medic for that since Urticaria sufferers are allergic to those blockers((.. But we found something called Hydramil and that works for me.. I am allergic to or intolerant to almost everything there is((( Gluten, Loctose, potatoes tomatoes eggs and wine, etc... etc... the list is endless and my life totally evolves around this and i am trying to work as a Flight Attn as i have done for 18 yrs. I must of course cook everything i eat while on work... sometimes very restraining. Can never go out to eat and drink with anyone:cool: I have in the last yrs had huge problems with my hair. My scalp burns and my hair is nothing near to what it used to be, dry and breaking and adds a lot of work to my otherwise busy trying to feel ok schedule((( Sometimes i cannot take my hat off for weeks, just leave the conditioner in and put on a hat(( sad for someone who used to have a beautiful head of hair.. My eyelashes are falling off too and have been doing so over 2 yrs. I try to make sure that no barabens or anything not totally natural touches my eyes.. difficult in my work(( But no matter what i do they keep falling off.. I'm sure the eyelids are swollen inside along with every cell in my body and that's why they are so loose?? I am allergic to steroids(along with many more meds)... I am always thinking if there could be something else causing this??
My blood tasts come out kinda ok... they are just watching one kidney hormone now that was too low... My thyroids seem to be ok??my sugar levels are very low though, but not diabetic low??...
Is there anyone that reads this who has any theory for me((
I'm so tired of trying to read and find something new that could help me((
Thank you for taking the time to read this and all help is hugely appreciated
Best wishes from Iceland
