Hi I have urinary dribbling and spinal stenosis. Do you think the dribbling after urination is due to the stenosis?

  • Hello. My name is Ahmed. I am a 42 years old radiologist. I have at the age of 38 been diagnosed with severe cervical spondylosis at C5-6 level. 2 years ago I started to notice my need to go back to the bathroom due to new stream of urine after full attempt to empty my bladder and urethra. I didn't link it to the disk disease but as I am a radiologist I have recently consulted with a neurologist who told me that it is due to cervical myelopathy as my prostate was 12 mls and the normal is less than 20 mls. Now after I had surgery to my neck the dribbling has increased and I need to go back to the bathroom 2-3 times separated by around 5 minutes and frequently during the day. My neurosurgeon also told me that my physical findings are due to myelopathy.Tough luck for me at this age. I will be having urodynamic studies soon and will be started on ditropan.
