I have a friend that has been having severe pain for 2 years. Her family has been blowing her off as she does complain ALOT but has NEVER complained about her health till these past 2 years.
Her hands and arms go numb at times and she has had ear pain "severe" for the past 2 years on and off. She has been to an ENT and family doctor they can find NOTHING wrong except she does suffer high blood pressure. She gets the pain deep into her right inner ear and directly behind the top part of her ear and then the bottom part both being outer. She also has the pain in the right side top of her head at one o'clock if the head where to have a clock face. It is about 2 inches back from her forehead. There is also jaw pain and it extends into her neck. She has cried twice over the past week as she is in so much pain. She is also having some mental health issues and has been pulling out her hair and earlier today her husband reported to me she was looking into the mirror saying I hate you to herself. She has admitted to me to also cutting herself at times. She is VERY stressed at this point in her life the doctors have NOT found ANYTHING wrong with her but I KNOW something is REALLY wrong this is NOT just in her head. PLEASE help. This women is like a sister to me and I hate to see her suffer so much.

  • Did the dr's do Mri's or cat scans of her head and brain? Perhaps theres a small tumor in there that they could have missed. I am just guessing here, but could it be from her teeth or jaws, like does she clench or grind her teeth, and the pain could be radiating from that. How abt her sinuses?? Sorry I can't offer much. I hope she can get helped soon..

  • This sounds like it could be a nerve problem (and I don't mean a nervous problem). The pain in her head could be neuralgia and that can be extremely painful. The numbness in her hands and arms could be caused by a trapped nerve.

  • Hands and arms could be carple tunnel. She needs a neurologist in any case. Good luck.
