For a number of reasons, I have lost all faith in doctors and I just cannot face going on the medical merry go round again. I would appreciate anybody who can help with the following:
I am 49 years of age. A little overweight but I walk briskly every day for an hour. I am not very fit but could go for a hillwalk for about two hours in the morning and return that afternoon. I used to be smoker but now only very occassionaly. I like wine and a social beer at the weekend. Not big into fast food and eat reasonably healthily but I like food.
For the last six months or so I had discomfort and dull pain in my right upper back. I often thought it was go to do with sitting at work and at a PC etc. However in the last few days, the pain has become quite sharp and sever and is only noticeable when sighing or exhaling heavily. And sometimes so sharp as to cause an involuntary gasp or yelp. Doctors, no way, I am going back to them and where I live my choice is quite limited. Any ideas anyone?
