My upper lip has been swollen for the past few years and I don't know what is wrong. I've had allergy tests done which didn't indicate any problem. This has really changed the way I look. Would appreciate any suggestions on figuring out what is wrong..

  • Any possibility of a sinus infection, with some drainage at night that is irritating to your upper lip? What about allergies to soap, shampoo, shaving cream?Do you by any chance lick your upper lip, or wet it with your tongue? Maybe some allergy there. Good luck. Marionstar

  • get a blood test for herpes 1; it could be a chronic case without blisters. It would rule it out, at least. There are so many additives added to food that could cause it, too, so I would suggest totally a diet change, eating only organic food..try it for a month and see if that helps. No diet drinks, either.
