Help! I've had a lower back surgery as well as 3 cervical disk surgeries. I was recently diagnosed as having signs of degenerative disk disease...as an MRI revealed several bulging disks in my thorasic area. This was diagnosed by a neurosurgeon...who should I go to for some type of treatment? I struggle with sleeping in bed...despite the pillow I lay on. Sitting against a chair causes discomfort without a pillow. I'm a 53yr old female.

  • You should see your general doctor and get your hormones and blood work checked as well as the neurologist and neurosurgeon for treatment and alternatives to surgery. Best of luck.
