Ive had upper back pain on and off for about 3 1/2 months now. Its between my shoulder blades (more to the left side) and feels like Ive been punched in the back. Sometimes the pain radiates around to my chest and I also have slight pain when breathing out especially when bent over. It feels like Ive been skewered by a pole. I have trouble falling/staying asleep because of the back pain; certain positions are more uncomfortable than others... Lately it has gotten worse especially in the morning when I wake up. I have been to see a doctor twice, been to the emergency room 3 times, and have even seen a cardiologist. All of my tests (EKG, xrays, blood pressure) came back normal. The 3rd time I went to the emergency room I was told I had a pinched nerve and to take advil for 10 days. Didnt help... I even saw an osteopath yesterday which seemed to have helped at first but unfortunately I woke up in pain again today. Please help!
