  • eyes like that can be a sign of conjunctivitis. Conjunctivitis can happen with viruses or bacterial infections and it should be treated. I suggest to try treating the conjunctivitis with chamomile tea... (that is one of the things i used to treat my childrens conjunctivitis with. One of my daughters used to get severe conjunctiviits at times and I always managed to avoid having to give her the doctors eye drops). Just make up a normal chamomile tea using chamomile tea bag.. then regularly wash his eyes out with this tea. (make sure it's cool of course). If his fever goes too high.. take him to the doctors!. (one can use tempid baths to help keep fever down some). Also definately take him if he's been sick for over a week. Sounds like just a virus thou with some conjunctivitis, so virus probably will just have to be allowed to run it's course (viruses are not treatable with antibiotics so pointless taking him to doctor for medicine).
