  • Okay, please understand that in the absence of direct evaluation, you will at the very least need to be far more descriptive in order for me to provide you with a reasonable opinion regarding your symptoms. Please describe in detail the unsteadiness, as well as the problems with walking that you are experiencing. Do your legs feel as if they won't support your weight or is it more a problem with feeling balanced? Does it occur while standing still as well or only when walking? If you try to walk faster or even jog, do the symptoms become less or more noticable? If you're walking, does it seem as though one leg or foot feels as though it's drifting out from under you, either to the side or too far forward or back? Additionally, when you say that you sense a "pushing feeling," please describe where on the body this occurs or whether it represents a compelling need to move the body or limbs. Describe the onset, how long it lasts and whether accompanied by any other symptoms regardless of whether you believe them to be associated. Tell me about your rapid heart rate in terms of how fast and under what conditions. Best regards, J Cottle, MD

  • Thanks a lot for your reply. It is problem with my balance. It occurs when standing and sitting position also. If I do not hold anything I feel like I'll feel down. I need a support always. When I say "pushing feeling" means something happens in my head for a second at any position(mainly in sitting position). I those situation I feel like I'll fell down and I'll hold some things for support and I pretend OK to others. In this sitiuation my heart beats rapidly. Pls let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks

  • Please, please help me. I always experience unsteadiness whenever am in a public place. .....for example, i cannot stand in front of church or any public place. I always feel like am going to fall. I have to hold on to something or somebody, whatever is close. This happens every time am in public, its very embarrassing. And makes me feel very strange in public. I have never fallen in public because i pretend and hold to something or somebody everytime am in front of people.I am not diabetic. And am sure it's not inner hearing infection because i have no problem hearing, or any pain in my ear or anything to do with my ear. Please, please help me.
