Since the dreadful day I received a call at work that my daughter was ill, I have quit work gone from doctor to doctor over 2 years with no diagnosis for her eye problems. She has unproven tunneled vision that started off blurred vision, then hazy now it's black and tunneled. The same exact thing is happening to the rest of the vision it was blurred now hazy. Her vision is like telling someone your car windows are dirty but if they aren't the driver they don't see the dirty windows until they sit behind the wheel of that car. She's had her optic nerves tested, photos taken of the nerves, field testings, you name it they all come back normal. We've gone to some of the best places in the United States, but her visual problems still persists and is worsening. She had a brain tumor on the pituitary gland and is on Bromocryptine 2mg twice a day and the opthamologists says her brain tumor was so small there shouldn't be any significance in her vision and her vision will get better. The disability opthamologists also checked her, their findings were normal. Although the tumor is gone, She is now depressed, she doesn't have a psychological problem but I think they are trying to diagnose her with that, she use to play the piano, river-dance, and taught herself a foreign language now she does none of those things. The happy free as a bird little girl has a marked change because of her eye problems, I promised her I'd stick with her and see her through and that she will regain her sight. That promise could never happen if no one knows what's wrong. Please help me save my little angel!
