OK, everyone, I'm counting on you to help me! I have one breast that, overnight, seems to have swollen about a cup size. I've been to 2 doctors and had a mammogram, and there is no sign of a cyst or tumor. I have absolutely no other symptoms-no rash, pain, discharge, nothing. My feet have been swelling but they tend to do that when I'm overweight, which I am a bit at this moment, but they go down too. I thought it may be hormomal because my feet seemed to swell at key times of the month when I have hormonal surges, even though I am in menopause. I do not take any replacement drugs and don't seem to have any symptoms of anything interesting. Just a normal, active 54 year old who has one breast that is swollen for no reason and without other symptoms. You'd think that if God were going to bless me with big ones at this stage of my life, he would have given me 2! Anyway, the Drs. can't find anything and won't do more tests because the mammogram came back clean. But my sister and her friends, all of whom are in the medical field, say this is not normal and don't let it go. Has anyone out there got any ideas other than IBC (Inflammatory Breast Cancer) which is not acceptable, but also I don't exhibit any of the other symptoms associated with it? Please respond-I'm pretty desperate for any and all advice at this point. Thanks, JJ in CA firstname.lastname@example.orgReply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
