About 3 weeks ago, I had an acute problem. The left side of my face got painful, both in the sinus area and the temple area. Common analgesics did virtually nothing. I saw my GP, he prescribed antibiotics, Augmenting, for 10 days. Nothing happened. He recommended a CAT scan, saw nothing. Subsequent to the onset of the problem, my sense of taste changed greatly, with most foods tasting bitter or chalky. My condition is pretty much the same as when it first started.

Any suggestions? Thank you

Thank youBlood work for CBC, and all iron levels...I say this because sometimes this is missed. Lots of different types of anemia's, so just make sure it's not the lack of iron/oxygen in your system. Next, go see a NEUROLOGIST! You're GP won't know much about this...and honestly...tingling/pain in face, change of taste sensory screams to me neuron problems.
