I am 29 yoa, fully healthly at 5'11" and 200 lb now that I haven't really worked in 6 weeks. I do have glacoma from a hunting accident.

On 06-12-2010 I was driving home from work and got dizzy and pasted out behind the wheel of my truck. I had worked outside alot that week and of the day that I was checking pumps I went waterskiing in the midday 10-3. I did not drink a lot that day while skiing. I had a ear ache, that I do not get, 1.5-2wks prior to this accident. My wife was in the vehicle and she said I looked like I was asleep as we run off the road into a rice field. I broke my nose and nothing happened to her. I woke up and new where we were and instructed her to call my friend to take us to the ER. The took blood, ct scan, ect. BUN was 26 and troponin was 0.07, that were the only two out of sync or what they called high. I went to a cardiologist that inturn sent me to an ep cardioloigist. I have worn an 24 hr holter, 30 day ECAT, had and echo with stress test, multiple EKGs, tilt table and finally an ep study. BP ranges from 122/70-140/85 depending on how much agitation I have had. All of which I passed and they saw no abonormalities. I did go to an ENT to find that I did have a ear infection that was causing some dizziness. BTW, I did have a route 44 sweet tea a few min before the accident as well as an ice cream and then a burger. All my doctors say it was dehydration but they will not release me to go back to driving. I can go to work just cannot drive.

My ep doctor is giving me the run around. He told me at the first visit that we would need to perform an ep to clear me, well after that was done and I passed it he want to put me on another 30 day monitor and 25mg of toprol xl for no reason. He could not justify the toprol.

  • Sounds like it could of been dehydration.. my father once passed out from dehydration due to not drinking enough You should be drinking 6-8 cups of fluid a day (beer or caffeine drinks dont count as they dehydrate one)... and may need even more fluid if you are being active or its hot.

  • That is what he keeps saying it was but he will not release me. He has said it was dehydration from the get go. He also told me that I had better hope He finds something during the EP study. I think he is fired as my doctor.

  • Good luck with being allowed to drive. Doctors will probably worry that it may happen again and someone may be badly hurt or killed and they themselves could be held then held liable for allowing you to do so. You may be in a real fix there. Ive had the opposite issue.. I had no doctors remove my licence when I shouldnt have been driving... I was having car accidents due to my medical issues (doctors werent believing how bad the medical issues were affecting me). Then due to me still having a licence.. social security expected me to be driving to go to work. Im now on disability pension so now dont have to drive.. but i smashed up two cars (one wasnt my own car but another I hit) due to them not removing my license and then being forced to drive. best luck

  • I was cleared to go back to work last friday. My new ep doctor indicated that after that battery of test that it was dehydration.

Most tests come out ok as well as they continue to go undiagnosed. For this reason I try to find people who seem to be having the same side effects as those given by the poisons on the market disguised as foods. This is what I have found on the internet- hundreds of folks who have discovered after YEARS and many hundred if not thousands of dollars and major life altering effects later- that they have been poisoned by:1. Aspartame- which is found in sodas and gum ( usually sugarless ones but read your labels because they are in over 9,000 products) causes grand mal seizures and strokes - as well as dehydration and it is very addictive. (it is found in Ocean Spray and Crystal Light flavor packs for water, jellos, yogurt, children's vitamins, etc...now also called AMINO SWEET, former names Equal, Nutrasweet, )The US Air Force has denied their pilots ANY food that contains this product in it- because of the above!2. Sucralose /Splenda- I mention this just to let you know ALL of the poisons and just in case there are loved ones eating this- preventing further poisoning- this is found in Diet and NON-diet or sugar-free products! Again read your labels- it has found its way into Fiber One yogurts and Quaker Caramel Rice Cakes for the kids! It causes calcification of the kidneys damages the liver, shrinks your immune system organs by 45% -the spleen and thyroid, causes dizzy, headaches, under the lower left abdomen nagging dull pain, joint pain, just google it and side effects and there will be the many many sites and their scores of victims. ( same as above google Aspartame and FDA and see the controversy, google aspartame and congressional hearings to see the three times medical and scientific communities have gone to denounce this product and claim it a safety hazard! ) Read Splenda: Is It Safe or Not? written by HAZ MAT engineer and chemist Janet Starr Hull- who will disclose case studies for both victims of Aspartame and Sucralose/ Splenda. The last thought I had was 3. Gardasil- which has caused over 15,000 complaints on VAERs - google that, and hundreds if not thousands of young girls and soon to be young boys to be fainting NON-STOP and lame at home. ( for 3+yrs. these homebound girls have been seizing daily and many times a day in fact. Some (80+) died, some are brain damaged and many many more unable to finish MS, HS, or even college from the poisoning- btw- 4. for babies and not you - but so you know is the HEP B vaccine- now BANNED in France due to a death to an infant and in this country many deaths due to the vaccination schedules in USA that keep this unnecc. vaccine out there- JUST FOR YOU TO KNOW AND BE WARE- did you seize behind that wheel?I think SO!
