About 2 years ago I attended my doctor with what I thought to be a groin strain. I was diagnosed with bi lateral inguinal hernias which were repaired by surgery.
Since the surgery I have had persistent right sided groin pain accompanied by a severe retching sensation when pressure is applied to the right side of my groin or directly to my right testicle.
I have been advised by a urologist to have my testicle removed in an effort to resolve this problem however he can give no explanation as to why the retching occurs and offers only a 50%-70% chance that the removal of the testicle will resolve the problem.
As neither my GP or the specialists I have consulted can offer no explanation as to why I am experiencing these symptoms I am posting on here in the hope that someone may be able to through some light on my condition.
