I have been having seizures since 2004, in 2004 I had a total hystertomy, I went into a seizure when I was caming around. The doctors did not know why I was having seizures, they said that it was stress. June 2006 I had five seizures in one day and started having seizures several times a day. The doctors said that it was stress. However before I have the seizures my vision is blurry, I have a pain on the left side of my head and the left side of my face swell. I know that there is something wrong but the test are coming back normal. The doctors can see the swell in my face and they know I have seizure like activity. Can someone tell me what to do, the seizure are becoming really bad and I came close to having one while I was driving. My PMD whats me to have all the tests ran all over again.

  • You need to go to a doctor who specializes in epilepsy. Meanwhile, you are lucky you get those signs before it happens, at least you have a minute to pull the car over!Sounds to me like being on an anti-seizure medication would be a good idea to try out.Next time you feel this thing coming on, have someone drive you to the hospital so they can check you when it is happening, or immediately afterwards. Normal people do not get seizures from "stress"!Good luck.

  • Hey,I'm not a judgemental person but I think you might want to quit driving before something really bad happens. You know you have seizure problems you would be held accountable. I know it is very hard to survive without the ability to drive but I think you will have to until you get the seizures worked out.Connie
