unexpected action makes me feel dizzy

I wonder if anyone has got a similar problem as I have. I've had it since I can remember, but I guess I was always too afraid to go the doctor and ask in case it was something bad.
The problem is this. Whenever I play football and suddenly have to do some quick and unexpected action like passing an opponent, my feet feel suddenly very light and are almost uncontrolable, I feel kind of dizzy and lightheaded, unable to hit the ball or do anything. It's like I cannot control myself for a few seconds. Then I'm fine again. It doesn't happen when I run across the field and it wouldn't happen if I ran a mile, it only happens when I have to do something fast and unexpected. When I work out, run or do any other exercise I'm fine.
Not sure if I made myself clear enough, but hope someone knows what I mean. Thank you.
