have chronic fatigue, knee, hip, & shoulder joints ache (like I have the flu, but no flu). legs feel weak and takes much mental effort to move them.
Have had brain CT, MRI -- normal per neurologist
EMG (nerve tests) on legs -- normal per neurologist
B12 level normal, all other blood work normal. Negative for rheumatoid arthritis & epstein-barr.
Any suggestions? Neurologist recommends seeing rheumatoidologist. Friend suggests seeing an Internal Medicine doctor.
Tired of being tired. Anyone have answers/suggestions???

Anyone have answers/suggestions??? So very very sorry but hopeful 4 you! Have you had any dental pain work/ facial, sinus, trauma, pelvic trauma infection? Candidia albicans/yeast Infection??? My symptoms same as you w/ dental trauma --mixed(anaerobic, aerobic, fungal(C. albicans) infection travels via bloodstream. Can be low grade, insideous so WBC and sed rate returns to normal in time Chronic Actinomycosis does not show on CT MRI for me was misdxed with Lyme disease--if so FDG-PET Scan W/ Dr. Alvai(?) neuro-radiologist at U of Penn. Cigna refused to pay for this test 4 me. I find it intesting u went to a neurologist first--makes me think if U were right cuz my infection went to joints and brain first--went to 20+ oral surgeons they don't know panarex does not show chronic infection in maxillary/mandible.(Dr. sidney finegold UCLA/Vets Hospital)infectious disease researcher). Also joints 4 me did not turn red/swollen/hot enough for rheumatolgist to do fine needle biopsy so that field of med didn't help. If any of this seems possible 4 U contact Joyyes@Yahoo

Anyone have answers/suggestions???New here Excuse errors U sound somewhat like me. so very sorry u have no diagnosis. some of ur symptoms remind of my medical problems. I am wondering if u have had any dental/facial/sinus/pelvis/lung complications. Any facial-dental work/pain may cause mixed(anaerobic, aerobic, fungal/yeast) infections which travel via blood stream to joints, brain, bone marrow, tissue, glands.... The problem for me is that this chronic infection did not show on CT MRI panarex. Temp, CBC, SED rate return rather quickly to normal. I was misdxed with Lyme disease yrs ago. The fact u went to neurologist is important as you have must have concern in that area and if this is infection it is insideous, progressive and missed. My RA is neg and joints not red, hot swollen after 1st round of antibiotics so rhuematologists of no value to me. I would appreciate ur posting a reply if my info does or doesn't apply to you cuz I'll be thinking about you and checking. Also, ignor the "crazy." U are doing great just keep posting whatever u think might get the right attention from the right person--it's all we have when we call 4 HELP. J.
