I am new to this forum.
I have suffered since a child with stomach problems. I am now 65 yrs. old & still suffering.
I have severe stomach pains, mostly right sided. I have almost constant nauesa. I have had every test there is for stomach problems. D. is everyday, sometimes 8 to 10 times a day and yellow. Pain is so severe at times that I sweat profusely. Pain will go into my lower back & down my legs.
In 2001 they discovered that my stomach was high up in my chest. In order to put it where it should be, they had to staple it in place.
In 2003 I did the camera pill & they discovered 2 duodenal tumors & removed them. Needless to say, neither surgery has fixed the problem.
The drs. just shake their heads.
I've told them that my grandmother, mother and both of my children have this same thing. In fact, my grandmother died of a burst intestines.
The strange thing is-- there can be months when I am symptom free & then out of the blue it strikes and lasts for months. It doesn't seem to matter what I eat or don't eat.
The latest thing my gastro. tried was 2 round of anitbiotics. I have told him that antibiotics make me sicker. I tried each of them, but only for 2 days as the symptoms became so severe I could not even walk my little dog.
Can anyone help me or perhaps offer up some suggestions?:(
