I have been experiencing pain in all of my joints and especially in my right shoulder. I have gained approximately 30 pounds in just two months. I am very tired all the time and had to quit my job. I have been going to the doctor now for six months. My doctor is a rheumatologist. For six months all my doctor has been telling me is that I am suffering from depression and has been giving me medicine called amitriptyline. Recently I went back to him and told him that there has to be something wrong and that my depression came after the fact that I have been suffering with pain for so long. I was just told that one of my test had a high presence of HLA, and they scheduled another appointment tomorrow. I research alot on the computer and it seems to me that I may be suffering from a autoimmune disease such as lupus, spondylitis , or something like that. Please, if someone else has had similar symptoms with a diagnose, could you please let me know? The doctors have made me feel like I am a hyperchondriac and nothing is wrong with me because I have so many symptoms.
