alright. well im a 16 year old girl (almost 17 at this point) and have been getting sudden, severe chest pain since christmas of 2004. The first night i got them, my mother called 911 and they thought i was having a heart attack. an ambulance came and stabilized me, then we drove to the hospital in our own car. they did a ecg when we got there, and all seemed normal. they gave me steriods and i was okay for about 6 months. then the pain came back. it's a sharp stabbing pain between my breasts which feels like a knife, puncturing my skin and going all the way through my chest and out my back. sometimes i won't have the pain for weeks or a month, then it will come back, sometimes for as many as 5 hours at a time. at this point ive been to the emergency room 4 times and the doctors told me not to come back, because there's nothing they can do. ive had a cat scan, 3 ecgs, a gall bladder scan, endoscopy, 2 ultrasounds, blood work, and ive seen a pediatric cardiologist. they found out my gallbladder wasn't working right and removed it. yet ive still had the pain. does anybody have a clue what could be wrong, or any suggestions ... please, it's very hard to live a teenage life when you don't want to go out due to the pain. please please helpReply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
