I m 28yrs old. single female.
I have a small swelling in my right underarm for he past 6 months
I dont have any pain until its presses harshly. no irritation felt so far.
sometimes I used to have the hair removal creams to clean the hair underarms , other than that I have not used any other creams. That too has been stopped since I found the swelling.
Also the swelling is not painful unless its touched. I also found it not growing in size. tends to be of the same size of sweling.
Its a small swelling , especially its found only on my right underarm and no such symptoms on the left hand. its quiet normal.

I read about the lymp nodes but it has been said that because of some infection it should have happened.

can anyone say how to avoid such infections and how to get rid of this swelling. I feel shy to show it to any doctors indeed.

  • I was thinking a lymph node is a possibility. If it was due to infection, it would be painful to touch, maybe 'warm' to touch, and would be movable- not 'stuck' in place. Some people have enlarged nodes for a long time. One should worry when it is 'cold' (body temperature), not movable, and not painful to touch. Also important is checking for enlarged nodes close by.That is not something to be ashamed of, as doctors check this by so many patients that to them it is nothing to think about or remember. To the patient is may be intimidating or embarrassing, but it is a body and health we are trying to check, so it shouldn't be so personal. Good luck

Good lucktry garlic pills with the scent (without the scent they are inneffective) orally. for thenode to swell there is some infection. may also put tea tree oil under the nose 3 times per day.
