My family all live in Dublin,Ireland & I live in Coventry, England. I spoke to my mum yesterday & she told me that last Sunday my dad said he wasn't feeling very well. Then he started shaking uncontrollably & his hands went navy blue. An ambulance was called & he was taken to hospital where he was put on a "drip". Mum said he was "touch & go" for a while but no-one thought to ring me & let me know.Obviously I'm upset about this but I'm curious really about what may have caused dad to get so sick so quickly.
Mum said she was told it was a "Viral Gastric Enteritis"? I've looked it up but can't find any reference to this anywhere. Just wondered if anyone out there could shed some light on dad's symptoms?
