I am a 30 year old woman who is 6'0" tall and weigh about 270 pounds. I used to weigh 317 but lost 100 pounds through diet and exercise about 3 years ago. Because of several factors, I gained back 50. I have been trying for about 4 months to lose weight and have had no success.
I eat a clean 2000 calories per day that is dietician approved. I work out 6 days per week consisting of 5 days of strength training that I mix up (made by trainer) and 5-6 days of 45 minute cardio sessions. I do arc trainer one day, elliptical or treadmill another, two days of cardio circuit (10 min arc, 10 min run, 10 min elliptical, and 10 min stepper with 5 on rower) and one day of kickboxing with a trainer. I try to burn at least 600 calories per session so I am not phoning it in. I drink about 1 gallon of water per day and get 8 hours of sleep.
My blood pressure is 112/68. My resting pulse is 64. My waist, though large, is still small in comparison to the rest of me at 37 1/2". I am pear shaped. I take no medications but a multi vitamin. I have been tested for thyroid, metabolism issues, celiac, etc. and nothing is wrong. The weight came off easily before and now I am having little to no weight loss at all.
My overall health is great. My skin, hair, and nails are nice. Periods are normal. The only thing kind of wrong is occasional constipation despite eating no less than 35 grams of fiber per day.
Anyone have any suggestions? I am at my wits end!!
