I've been going to doctors and clinics for some time, both with and without insurance for a few years now. I figure I'll just type out some symptoms and let me know if anything jumps out at you.
Low fever-every other day, around 99.5
right parotid saliva gland is swollen
my throat and sinuses are red, there is an ulcer where my right major tonsil use to be, leukoplacia looking skin around my tonsils, had it for a year
sense of smell is practically gone, there's some kind of sore just behind and above my uvula, cannot be seen except for some redness and swelling, is not very noticeable but I've had it for about a year. My right eye feels really dry. I have an overall ache that reaches from my eye to my ear to the parotid to just beneath my jaw.
I have a lot of chest pain, I feel pain when breathing deeply, I have shortness of breathe, I feel very dizzy. There is a protrusion in my ribs, a lot of people have them but I have noticed mine getting larger in a short period of time. My chest xrays are normal. Blood work seems normal. Thyroid has been ruled out. Lyme disease and a few others have been ruled out. EBV AB VCA IGG came back above 2000 but the 5 other markers for EBV all came back neg. Doc thinks it may be false positive. Either way, may not be relevant.
I had a spell recently where my bp was very high as well as my pulse. I stay in a thick brain fog. I have lost 50 lbs in the past two years. I have obviously consdered cancer, but my parotid and lymph nodes have been swollen for a few years. Seems I would be done in by now if such were the case. There are soft tissues in the right side of my neck that do not seem like lymph nodes. They are not nodular or hard. The doctors cannot detect them because they are as soft as surrounding tissues. They are certainly there, they are not present on the left side and they follow the path of my right SCM from jaw to clavicle. Antibiotics did nothing. I am male in my early twenties. Please share any ideas.
